Absolutely loved my stay at this B&B! The hosts were so helpful and wonderful, and even arranged a cab from the airport. The guidebook provided was comprehensive and convenient. Having access to a kettle and fridge was a bonus. Walking distance to everything and great if you're diving with Eco Dive School. The cleanliness was impressive, with filtered water available. Access to a full kitchen and amenities for cooking was appreciated. The location felt safe. The owner was incredibly nice and welcoming. The house was beautifully renovated with a perfect blend of modern and Cape Verdean style. Every detail was well taken care of. A sustainable way to discover the real Cabo Verde. The rooms and common spaces were beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Highly recommended!

I had a great stay at Casa Pau for my windsurfing trip. The double room with private bathroom was perfect - clean, spacious, and had a fan. The attention to detail in this beautiful, hand-made house is impressive. The common area and kitchen were a plus, and their freshly made breakfast for only 6 euros per person was a steal. Berta and Rui, the hosts, were super friendly and made our stay special. Can't recommend this hotel enough!

We had such a relaxing and peaceful stay at a beautiful guesthouse in Sal. The design and decor were absolutely stunning. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the shower had great water pressure. The best part? The warm welcome we received from the owner, who greeted us with a refreshing homemade fruit juice cocktail. The guesthouse has a great balance of privacy and social openness, making it feel like a luxury hotel with the opportunity to meet and chat with other guests. We loved the attention to detail in the interior design, with local materials used to create unique and creative furniture. The location was also convenient, with everything we needed just a short walk away. we highly recommend this guesthouse for a truly special and authentic experience in Sal!

my recent stay in santa maria was incredible, but Casa Pau Guest House exceeded all expectations! the friendly hosts and their involvement in conservation projects stood out. visiting the turtle hatchery was a highlight, and being able to adopt a turtle was such a unique experience. Casa Pau Guest House made my trip unforgettable!

The location of this hotel was great, with easy access to the beach and a short walk to the center of town. The fact that there were bars, a surfing school, and free sunbeds near the beach was a big plus. I also liked that there was a small shop conveniently located on the way to the beach.

I had a negative experience with the room at this hotel. The room had a wooden door with gaps between it and the dining area, which meant that noise from the kitchen and dining area was unavoidable.

My stay at the guest house was simply wonderful. Berta and Rui, the owners of Casa Pau Guest House, were like guardian angels, making my trip a positive one. Despite the inconvenience of my lost luggage and falling ill on my last day, I still managed to create fabulous memories. Walking into the main plaza and Santa Maria beach was an incredible experience. The location was perfect, with a peaceful atmosphere just a short walk away from the center. The beach, bars, and surfing school were all within a few minutes' reach. The owners were lovely and extremely helpful. The eco-friendly house had a warm and welcoming interior, with a simple yet creative decor featuring natural products like tree trunks and branches. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, showcasing local products. I felt blessed to be a part of the Casa Pau family, and I highly recommend it, especially for solo female travelers.
